A Lesson in Seed Dispersal

A few days ago we were walking at a nearby park. Suddenly T put her arm out to stop me. I could hear what sounded like a ball or something crashing through the tree in front of us.
In fact, it was a large pine cone coming through the branches over head. And it landed right in front of me!
T picked up the pine cone and handed it to me. I was tickled to have it. As I studied this seven inch potential head-bonker, I noticed it had already opened up and dispersed its seeds.

Me and My Pine Cone
And we are all a part of that perfection. We are all connected; we are all of one universal source, even the pine cone.
So I thanked the universe for giving me such a wonderful gift to reinforce the lesson I had been listening to the night before from Dr Wayne Dyer, about how we are not separate from our environment, but rather we are all connected to everything else in the world, whether it be our natural environment or man-made.
I took my pine cone home to keep on my desk as a reminder that I am of you, and you are of me, and we are, even the pine cone, all of the universal source of energy that creates all that is.
Be Peace. Be Love.
How ‘bout it?
