New Project and News

Hey all,

I’m late getting the post out today. Sorry about that. Usually we’re so good about having it ready ahead of time!

Just wanted to update you on some news. First off, some time this week we’ll be changing over our web hosting company, so there may be a day or two that we are offline…don’t really know when or for how long.

Second bit of news is I’ve got a new project in the works that involves fundraising and my running. In fact my running quite a distance…over one thousand miles!!! I’ll keep you posted as we finalize details on that, but it’s going to be fun! And a huge challenge! Maybe you’ll choose to join me! Keep watching this blog for the updates!

(…Are you curious? Have I succeeded in creating a little mystery? Let me know…comment below :) ….)

Anyway, talk soon!

How ’bout it?

    hi

was interested in you running 1000 miles project

mainly because I work with ultra marathon runners and walkers and I was at the 1996 Nanango Queensland Australia 1000 miles where I worked with Sandra Brown who is a racewalker and who I got through as the the first lady to do a 1000 miles on a racetrack since 1000 miles started

if there is any help or advice I can give you please let me know as I am a specialist leg recoverer in this sport and in fact just covered the Australian Centurion racewalkers 100 mile and the Coburg Melbourne 24 hour run at the weekend just past

    Hi

In relation to your 1000 miles run-I do not and never have been paid for and by the events I attend-I do it all voluntarily just for the pleasure of helping people achieve the best they can achieve

Bearing this in mind, and the fact that I live in Australia and have to get there I would be happy to come over and help you with muscle recovery depending on where and when you were doing it

I would just need a little help with expenses to get there and somewhere to stay

If you already have assistance with recovery then I will send your handler notes-it is important to understand that working with someone who has run a marathon and has conventional recovery work done at the end of it is totally different to someone who is running day after day and who has to set off to do the required daily distance

You can’t use the same approach to the muscles as you would normally

    Hi Michael again

Just checked out your planned trip!

Awesome! Much better than running around a track for days!

If I can afford the airfare and I can travel with you on the road for a while (I don’t take up much room and can tent at night) it would be a nice way to see the US for a few weeks-how long do you intend to do it in?

I managed to work with Jesper Olsen on his first world run for 3 weeks and had a ball!

I will also link your website to mine if that is ok and also link on some of the articles I have written that are doing quite well in google so you may get more people visiting

ps I also don’t need to bring any equipment because what I do doesn’t need any

    Hi me again

I misunderstood before thought you running all the way on roads to burbank-still that’s what you get when you mix with too many ultra marathon runners and walkers-we are all a little strange-too much studying the roads close up-the white lines can play tricks on the mind lol

ok back to reality-I have put you widget on my website which will go up next couple of days on the women’s web site and also I am doing an article on special need of women in public recovery areas after running

Will make mention of your run

Other than through here I do not have an email contact address so I can send you a manual in PDF that may help you to get through your daily runs-to the end?

can you contact me through my email so I can send you one?

    Michael G
