Disclosures

^ Click Arrow Above To Listen

Hi there,

If you’ve been following the blog, or have read or listened to our “About” page, you understand that I am a legally blind woman who is passionate about running. While I am certainly eloquent enough in my own right, in the interest of full disclosure, I have to admit that my eloquence has been enhanced by my editor.

Since I have difficulty seeing, it is obviously a much more functional and practical course of action to use an editor/ghost writer. I also hold strongly to the belief that if my stories aren’t written well, it will be impossible to hold your attention, and motivate and inspire you.  And if you don’t get something out of the experience, you won’t come back to read more later.

The process works like this: I write out my notes and stories for each blog post in my own words, and then hand it over to my editor, who will then ask me questions to understand my points, filling in the details of the story, and fleshing out what happened or how I felt, bringing those details in to add verve and spice to the telling. I guess you’d call my editor a ghost writer, or even my “Vision Writer” if you will….

You will also notice that there are ads on the blog post pages and the sidebar. There are also links in the text of the posts. They range from eBay to Amazon to RoadID and various other ones, too. You can ignore the ads if you like, but if any of them grab you, it would be awesome if you could click on the links and patronize some of the sponsors of our site. It all helps pay the bills, and keeps the blog posts flowing! :) And primarily are promotions for products or services that we actually use and feel strongly about. So if you have any interest at all, you could click on them to check them out.

Also, just to cover all the bases, obviously I’m not a lawyer, I’m not a trained physician or health care provider, or accountant, or dental hygienist, or traffic cop, or anybody else that might be inclined to give professional sounding advice on what you should or shouldn’t do. So, anything I’m talking about here is just my experience or opinion, and should not be construed as a guide, or even that I might know what I’m talking about. While I may know what I’m talking about in reference to my own life and experience, I certainly can not make sound judgements about you and your life. That would be your job. So take what works for you and leave the rest….

How ’bout it?

Vision Runner

P.S. Oh yeah, one last thing….It’s not really me reading the posts on the audio either. As my vision issues make it difficult for me to read smoothly out loud, my editor reads and records the posts for you.

Just thought you should know.
Thanks!!
